So this weekend I was bored. B.O.R.E.D. and started thinking that, since I’m DIYing most of the paper things myself, I should at least start doing some mock-ups.
So I did just that. Last night I knocked out a mock-up of our table number/menu tri-fold, the program and out OOT welcome brochure. Yes, I know, I rock.
If you’re a frequent reader of
Weddingbee.com (or “The Bee” as the cool kids call it), then you know that Miss Joey posted about her
tri-fold lovely table number/menu “
thingys“. As soon as I saw them, I knew I had to try and recreate something similar. It’s so practical.

Check Miss Joey’s post out
here.
So here is my rendition of the Martha Stewart/Miss Joey tri-fold.
Don’t mind the crease…lol…I crushed it this AM!
I’ve decided to make them a tad larger, but not too large that they take away from the centerpieces. Also, I don’t need to be ANYWHERE near scissors, I suck at cutting straight lines. Next time, I’ll let Kinko’s cut it! Also, all of the projects from my mock up were printed on resume paper (lol- it was all we had in the house), so the next go ’round will be on actual card stock.
Next I did a mock-up of our program. I had already designed it, but I needed to see exactly how it printed out AND how to construct them properly.
There were some slight (lol) alignment issues, but after I master how to put them together, it’ll be a cinch.
I’m not posting a picture of the brochure because I’m just lazy. It’s gorgeous, though.
I’m going to do another post with a tutorial on the table numbers, soon.
So what do you think?
