I would sure like to be where this week's BAB bride went for her honeymoon. It is all about snow, snow, snow in the DC area. So far I am sitting with 24 inches from this past weekend's storm and we are slated to get another 6 to 12 inches over the next two days. Ugh!! Give me the sun and heat. But it is all good. At least I was able to sit on my sofa all snug and warm and spotlight this week's featured BAB Bride…

About her wedding…
Paula: Describe your DH’s participation in the planning process?
soon2bmrsw: My dear hubby was highly involved in the planning process. When asked, he will tell you that he wanted to help lighten the load of stress that I was carrying. I believe that he was just as excited to be planning such a large party for our families as I was. He helped with everything from DIY invitations/Save-the-Dates to helping to design and write Thank-You's. He even took the lead on working with a number of vendors such as the DJ, Bartender and Videographer to name a couple.
Paula: What song did you choose for your walk down the aisle? Why this song?
soon2bmrsw: I chose Maurette Clark Brown's, "The One He Kept For Me" as my song to walk to my husband. I couldn't think of a better way to express to D how I felt/feel about him. Besides D being "The One He Kept For Me", these lyrics speak to my heart:
I'd pray and wait for you
So patiently
And now He's blessed our love
For eternity
The one I was praying for
The one He delayed me for
The one He kept for me
Until it was time
My husband is truly God's greatest gift to me. I don't deserve him, but GOD saw fit to place him into my life.
Paula: How would you describe the look on your DH’s face when he saw you coming down the aisle?
soon2bmrsw: My hubby cried as I entered the sanctuary to come to him. It was the absolute sweetest thing ever.
Paula: What was the funniest thing to happen on your wedding day?
soon2bmrsw: During the planning process, I often joked with the officiant about my ring(s). I said that if I didn't get double diamond bands to compliment my engagement ring, I would give him the eye and the wedding was off – joking of course. By the time the wedding day rolled around, I had of course forgotten all of this and was just taking everything in. During our ring ceremony, the officiant tells my husband to place the ring on my finger. After a second, he turns to D and asks, "Is that ALL you have for her?" I was MORTIFIED! It took a second, but then I realized that my groom had tricks up his sleeve as he pulled out my second diamond band (YAY!). As the pièce de résistance, when asked, my hubby loudly declares, "With THESE rings, I thee wed…" Priceless.
Paula: Where did you go on your honeymoon?
soon2bmrsw: We honeymooned for the first seven days of our marriage at the beautiful Gran Bahia Principe Ambar in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The honeymoon, however, is still in progress…

The diamond is considered as the ultimate symbol of romance and that might be the reason most of the designers in Winnipeg used to design the unique engagement rings Winnipeg with the diamonds and it had been considered already as the best choice for the engagement rings with its durability to wear this ring for life time.
