Yup… FOR FREE!!! Dance with me now…

:does the roger rabbit:

Anyhoo I am always looking for fantastic ways to fab your wedding without spending up all ya money… And this idea I just found is FABULOUS…

Babbies and gentlemen, I give you the Tabloo photocube….

The Tabloo Studio is a really cool tool by HP for your to print this fabulous item AT HOME with your regular printer FOR FREE….

 oing my best Oprah imitation:

YOU GET A CUBE.

YOU GET A CUBE.

EVERYBODY. GETS. A. CUBE!!!!!

And get this divas… NO tape, glue, staples. NOTHING just some scissors, a little folding and your cube is done….

All you do is sign up for an account, upload five pics into the Tabloo Editor, and then print the PDF they make for you. I suggest you print it on some nice heavy card stock for sturdiness!

So, I know what you are thinking that’s cute & all, HDIC, but how can I use it for my wedding? Girl, now you know I GOT YOU!

Well, first, this is a great way to showcase pictures of you and your fiance’ throughout the years or even highlight your engagement photos, bridal photo shoot, or any kind of picture fabulousness that you’d like to share with your guests… These would be sooo cute piled up or spread out all over your guest book table or by your escort cards!

OR…

You could spread them at the actual dinner tables. You could even make on of the sides of the cube a table number and use this as table numbers…. Great conversation starter and it will get guests moving and interacting, to see all the pictures at the different tables!

OR…

You could use these as your escort cards…Damn, I’m good! Probably a wee bit time consuming but how cute would it be to find your seat at a wedding by getting one these photocubes with pics of the couple? FAB.YOU.LOUS.

OR…

You could use them as Favor boxes… How cute would that be.. Forget the tulle. Fill these photo cubes up with some M&M’s in your wedding colors, some Hershey’s kisses or whatever and you’ve got something way cuter than expected!

I could go on and on… But you get the point! this is a really cool way to added a wedding photo fab element to your wedding for little more than the cost of some cocktails for your girls at the Wedding Photo Cube cutting party!LOL!

This is just too cute… Totally free and really really easy to make… I found these really detailed instructions to help you along. Easy PEASY!!!

I’m going to be making some for a party I’m throwing for Solstice… I’ll show you my results when I’m done!

What do the Bab’s think of this?

Stay fierce, fabulous, and FREEEEEEEEE from,

So I loves me some craftyness! I barely have time for it anymore but when I was planning the wedding I was all diy, all the time. DIY wedding projects are a great way to save money and personalize your wedding with your own special touch! Everyone will remember those little hand made touches!

Anyway when I found this project I knew I had to share with my fellow DIY Brown and Bridal Wedding Divas!

GET THIS WATER BALLOON LUMINARIES!!

I KNOW! I KNOW!

you looking at me like….

Ride with me on this one! Now you know I only do FLY!

Here are the instructions from Peak Candle Supplies with PICS and a little helpful commentary from me in Italics (hee hee)!!

You Will Need:

High-Melt Paraffin Wax (IGI 1260)

Water Balloons

Double Boiler

Cookie Sheet

1. Fill a water balloon with tepid water. Throw one at your future husband for kicks

2. Melt your wax. Drip some of said wax all over your body to entertain future husband who is damp and probably still pissed about the ballon. He will forget all that once the wax starts a dripping. Optimum working temperature for this project is 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Try to maintain this temperature for your wax while working by keeping it on a double boiler.

3. Slowly dip your balloon into the wax to just below the water level in the balloon. Warning: Do not dip the balloon into the wax past the water level. This could cause the balloon to pop. PLEASE NOTE: If you burn yaself, bust the balloon, or mess this up in anyway thehdic, Brown and Bridal, the candle people and Jesus are not responsible. YOU ARE. If you can’t chew gum and walk this is not for you, boo boo!

4. Hold the balloon in the wax for a few seconds, and then slowly lift it out of the wax. Dip the balloon a few more times, allowing some time between dips to let the wax cool.

5. While it is still quite warm, carefully set the balloon down onto a piece of paper or a cookie sheet, making sure it is level. This will create a flat bottom for the luminary. This is the only case where a FLAT BOTTOM is desired by any woman I have ever met!

6. Dip your balloon a few more times until it is the desired thickness. A good target thickness is 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch.

7. Set the balloon on the paper or cookie sheet again and let it cool.

8. When the wax is completely cooled, hold the balloon over a sink or bucket, facing away from you. Carefully pop the balloon with a skewer or knife and let the water drain out. Throw away the balloon shards. Shards? That word makes me giggle.

9. To level the top of the luminary, heat a cookie sheet on the stove and place the luminary top-down onto the hot sheet and carefully melt the edges until it is level.

10. Place a tea light or votive inside the luminary and burn on a candle holder in a dark area.

Are you ready for the finished product?

________

What did I tell you!!! FLLLYYYYYY!!! So fabulous! The one above have been colored with dyes! Can you imagine a Reception hall filled with these little lights illuminating your wedding colors everywhere! I just FAINTED from the FIERCENESS!!!

You could use them as centerpieces, to line the aisle, to decorate the head table, I mean really the possibilities are endless!

And here are some tips I got from searching around the internets from folks who have done this project!

1. Don’t use actual water balloons! They are really thin and may burst from the heat! Try 7 inch Helium Ballons!

2. Wax is hot… Be careful!

3. Use plastic tealights to make sure they don’t melt through the wax of your balloon luminary! Also put just a little bit of water in the bottom of the luminary so if there is any trouble, the water will handle it! Oh and if your wedding sites don’t allow open flames you can use battery-operated tea lights!

4. Candle Tech has a great video too: Check it out here: You can also buy all the supplies you need from there!

So that’s it! IF you do decide to make these send me pics and any tips so I can let all the other ladies know how it turned out! Also if you have any other DIY wedding projects shoot me an email at brownandbridal@gmail.com and I would love to feature your project!

Fierce, Fabulous, and Full of wax,
