So In an effort to spice up our “erratic-should-be-scheduled-regularly-but-don’t- nobody-want-to-babysit-twins-every-week” date night.We  are going to be coming up with 5 things for us to do on our date night that we have never done before that we each think would be fun! Short simple easy dates that are different from the regular, dinner movie, sex in the back of the minivan dates we usually do.  They should be things that you all have never done together before!

I’m still adjusting my list but here is what I got:

1. Go to a gym and take a fun class together or use their rock climbing wall!

Most gyms have a free trial or a discounted price for a simple one day/class visit. Google the gyms in your area find a cool class and sign you and the hubster up!  I found a class by us that is called: BOLLYWOD AEROBICS!  According to the description: The movements in Bollywood style are fun, athletic and a fusion of styles from classical Indian dance to modern jazz and hip-hop. My husband doing Indian Dance, Modern Dance,& Hip Hop…. Hilarity will ENSUE!

2.  A photo shoot!

I like my husband. I think he’s a real cutie. And he also claims to think I’m pretty cute too!  I like his back and he thinks my fingers are cute.. So I think it would be fun to get our cute stuff together and go to some cute local location and take pics of each other… I think Michael will hate this one BTW but its my date night! I can pick what I want! But I’m sure he may come to enjoy himself when he sees one of the AHEM special outfits I might pick for the photoshoot! tee hee

3. Go to a local high school football or basketball game!

I know we don’t have any high school aged children but I was thinking this would be a cheap fun way to do something we’ve never done before… We can marvel at how young all the kids are, tell stories about our high school experiences and maybe just being around all those young folks will make us feel like high schoolers again… Who knows… Maybe, I’ll let him kiss me behind the bleachers…

I told Michael my idea about coming up with dates and he gave me that goofy guy smirk, and said I got all five of mine already… So then I had to tell hime that all five of them couldn’t be solely revolving around sex… So now he has none. LOL! You may have to give your husband the same rule… Dang shame… LOL

ANyhoo at the beginning of the week for the next ten weeks place all of your ideas in a hat for each other. DO NOT LET THE OTHER PERSON PEEK AT YOUR IDEAS… Draw a slip of paper and whoever’s date it is has the week to plan it and should give the other person a cryptic idea of how to dress, what to bring, time, date, etc. Then go on your date and have an awesome time doing what was randomly chosen… I like this one cause there is an element of surprise, a chance to experience something new together, and an oppurtunity to spend time doing something fun with your spouse. Also having a week of suspense trying to figure out what the other persons date is, is always fun!

Anyweezy, for today it a very quick and easy challenge that will let you spend 5 minutes doing something that I am pretty sure all you BABBIES love doing, eat something delicious, and advance your Operation Happy Marriage progress…

I want you to go Kiss ya man… I don’t mean them weak ass hi and bye kisses we all have given as we are flying out of the front door with your caramel mocahino half soy double whipped latte In one hand and your fierce new asparagus green snakeskin Prada Briefcase in the other.  That bag is fierce, girl but NO,  I’m not  talking about that.

I’m talking about one of those put in on him, I’m the kind of bad girl your mama told ya about, you can call me trollop, lady in the streets, freak in the sheets, SWV I get so week in the knees, Silk Meeting in my bedroom,  Janet Jackson, Anytime, Anyplace KISSES…

If you know what I’m talkin’ ’bout.  Let the CHHUCCH SAY AMEN!!!

Get up from the computer.

Go put on some lip chap if you need it.

Then find a piece of chocolate, fruit, candy, whatever but it has to be something delicious, preferably in a flavor that your husband enjoys too.

Okay, Eat it… Delicious right?… Good!

Okay, now go find ya man. Wherever he is in the house, interrupt whatever he is doing right now!

If he has the Rock Band guitar in his hands, the lawnmower, the broom(ya right), the baby, whatever….

Take it from him. Say no words, grab his face and lay it on his ass…

FOR FIVE MINUTES.

Yup five minutes of pure kissing, Like scrait up making out…

BUT that is all, Just kiss, kiss, and kiss him like that is all you and he have ever done.

Kiss him like you never want to stop.

Kiss him with all the love and passion that you have ever felt for him.

Kiss him like he looks like this everday.

Kiss him for five minutes, and then walk your tail away. And put a little stank in your walk when you walk away (Even if you have no booty, you always gotta put little stank in the walk,boo!)

Now I can’t promise that he won’t try to follow you. If he does you can decide what to do next: Play coy and continue with your daily Babbing and reap the benefits of that kind of kissing later, or whip it on him to completion and do what grown folks do right then.

Personally, I will be taking the coy route and letting him walk around in a daze all day… tee hee.. Whatever you do two things will happen he will be left wondering why you tasted so dang on good and wondering how on earth he got so lucky as to have such  sex kitten, gorgeous, fierce kitty diva, and all around bomb ass wife AKA YOU.

So I have an idea….

Welll I got it from REE!!!! So we were discussing a uhhhhhhhh grown and sexy kind of topic and she metioned that her FI had done something so wonderfully that she gave him an award for doing such a good job. He was honored of course and gave an acceptance speech. There were cheers and applauding all around!!!

Anyway, but that got me to thinking…. Remember when you were in grade school and your teacher would come to your desk and give you that AWARD for whatever reason… Just a simple piece of paper with your name written in the blank and that little tacky seal of approval in the corner…

Do you remember how that made you feel… DAMN GOOD!!!

Running home to show your mama and the other kids… You had done something GOOODDD!!!!

Sooooo here’s the plan, from now until next week, we should award our husbands….

I mean, its easy to rag on him for leaving his socks on the floor, or not using a coaster but what about the simple, little things he does do right on a everyday basis…

Did he take out the trash?

Did he give you a sweet compliment?

Did he go to work a job he hates?

Did he love your children?

Did he pick up the dry cleaning?

Everyday the man in your life does something necessary for the peaceful contiuation of your marriage and/or relationship…. I say its high time we honor them for it…
