As of this writing, I am exactly 15 days away from my 1st year anniversary weekend with BF. It feels great to have someone who I can lean on, especially in my times of need. I love me some him!

Anyhoo, along with Valentine’s day weekend being our anniversary, Donovan and I have been competing in a weight loss challenge…the contest will end that weekend as well. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I got this in the bag. I don’t know what has gotten into me, but after Christmas I started working out. I have been following a schedule y’all! I made out this schedule varying from three to four days of the week to work out. I’ve worked my way up to about an hour and ten minutes of exercise and strength training.

I am so determined to lose this weight this time. I feel GREAT! The challenge with Donovan is an excellent motivator too. I have lost thirteen pounds since I started working out in late December. :) The working out and weight loss is also a part of my 101 Things in 1001 days, which I started on January 10. This may sound so cliche, but I feel so alive. I am trying to change the bad habits in my life and not working out was one of them.
